If you’ve spent any time in our local kopitiams, you’ll know that ordering a drink is an art form. When it comes to our favorite childhood chocolate-malt beverage, the older generation often has a secret code: they ask for a Tak Qiu.
Coming from the Hokkien term for "kick ball," it’s a brilliant little nod to the drink’s long-standing association with soccer and the World Cup fever that sweeps through our hawker centers. To the drink stall uncle or auntie, it’s a shorthand for a comforting, icy, malt-filled treat.
The Tak Qiu Dino is our love letter to that specific joy—the clinking of ice, the local banter, and the electric thrill of match day. We’ve bottled that nostalgia into these designs, blending our local culture with the universal love for the beautiful game.
